Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We provide signage to the Bay of Plenty and Beyond. We have a network of installers around the North Island that we use to apply and install for us when required. We supply prints to companies across New Zealand.
We prefer artwork to be supplied as vector files - PDF, AI or EPS are ideal. Please make sure that all text is converted to outlines, any links are embedded in the file, and if your file is at scale please indicate this in the filename. Your file should also include bleed and cropmarks. If you're unsure how to do this, you can contact our graphic designer here.
If supplying bitmap files such as JPG, TIFF or PNG please make sure that the file dimensions are correct for printing and you are happy with the quality of the file at that size. We cannot easily enlarge image files without loss of quality and so do not recommend these for printing.
If your file is under 5MB you may send it by email. For anything larger than that we recommend using https://wetransfer.com/ or https://www.dropbox.com/. You may share files to email@example.com.
If you'd prefer not to send files over the Internet, you can also drop in with your file on a USB flash drive and we can copy it across from there.
This can vary from job to job. We pride ourselves in fast turn around though. If you have a print ready file, we can usually get your print completed in 2-3 days max. For jobs requiring graphic design or special stock the process can be a bit longer. We will keep you informed as the job progresses.
This will all depend on three things:
Cost: Self Adhesive gives a sharp clean sign but can be much more expensive than banner stock. Banners are a much cheaper option when you have a large space to advertise.
Placement: The surface you will be using for your signage will often dictate what can be used. Self-adhesive can be applied to windows and walls. Walls need to be painted with Waterborne enamel paint and cured for several weeks before applying vinyl. Self-Adhesive is perfect for ACM and Coreflute signs.
Time: A commercially Clear coated banner can last up to 8 years if looked after. Self-Adhesive comes in varying grades that last different lengths of time. Good quality vinyl will last you 5 years.
Clear coating is the process of commercially varnishing your print to give it strength and protection. We have had banners last more than 8 years outdoors with commercial clearcoat. Although it can be expensive it will be worth the cost if you need your banner to last.
We also offer a hand coating option for smaller banners that is more cost effective and will give medium protection.
Yes! We have a Mimaki Plotter on site which allows us to quickly cut vinyl graphics. This is great if you need a quick ‘For Sale’ sign, rounded labels, or specially cut prints to any shape or size.
Keeping your vehicle well maintained will ensure you get the best out of your graphics. Keeping your vehicle clean ensures your graphics look their best and will help them last. We’ve put together a guide with everything you need to know about looking after your wrap and vehicle graphics.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Classic Flyers
We have found A2Z Print Solutions amazing to deal with when providing new artwork for our offices. The staff are super friendly, fast and have great ideas. Even better is that they are always mindful of being cost-efficient. We are so happy with the results – our new boardroom looks amazing! Thanks Debbie & Dave!
We recently had our two new trucks fitted with new curtains with A2Z from start to finish. Originally the artwork and curtains were to be made overseas but we could not guarantee that the clarity of the artwork would come out as best as it could. We then engaged Dave and his team to look after the project and as you can see, we are very happy with their work.
The team were fantastic, everything was super quick to get printed and organized and they were easy to communicate with. The end result was fab and would definitely recommend. Thanks heaps!
